Eventarty demo · accreditation on the Eventarty platform
The controller of personal data is Eventarty demo (“the organiser”). For questions about data processing, use the contact listed on the application page of the respective event.
Applications are processed on the Eventarty platform, which processes the data on behalf of the organiser as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR) and does not use it for any other purpose.
Data is processed to: handle the application and issue the accreditation, control access to event zones, ensure participant safety, and keep records of issued accreditations. The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) given by accepting this policy when applying, and the organiser's legitimate interest in event security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The photo is used exclusively for producing the accreditation and for visual identification of the holder at checkpoints. It is not used for automated facial recognition or marketing.
Application data and the photo are kept for the duration of the accreditation process and the event, and for a maximum of 90 days after the event ends, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Pass records are kept for the same period for security records.
Data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Access is limited to authorised staff of the organiser (accreditation office and checkpoint staff) and to Eventarty as the processor. Data is stored on servers within the EU.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing; without the data an accreditation cannot be issued or maintained). You may lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority.
